Putnam Town Board discusses Site Plan Review Law overhaul

NY PUTNAM — Putnam Town Board holds workshop to discuss Site Plan Review Law updates. Supervisor Darlene Kerr presided over the May 20 workshop with four board members present, as Town Attorney Rob Winn outlined his draft proposal addressing project classifications, shoreline areas, environmental sensitivity, setbacks, and billboard signs. Winn suggested appointing a Compliance Officer to review projects and serve as the town's required Flood Damage Prevention Local Administrator.

The positions would be posted for public application, with Winn given 30 days to revise his proposal for further board review.
